There have been recommendations on here for years, of what swing CDs to buy for practicing your steps at home, so we would like to catch up in the Waltz department and give you some music tips.  Unfortunately, there is no good compilation out there of contemporary waltzes that we know of.  The closest thing we can recommend is the soundtrack to the movie Amelie; most of the tracks are waltzes, though few of them are slow enough to make good practice for beginners.  So here are some individual songs you may find in your collection (or a friend's, or the library...)  These are chosen not only because they are by people you have heard of, but also because you won't have to be a music major to hear they are in 3/4.
